HAVE GOT
El verbo «to have got» se puede usar con el significado de obligación («tener que hacer algo») pero sobre todo se usa con el significado de «tener» (poseer).
Está formado por el auxiliar «have» + «got»
I / You / we / they have got
He / she / it has got
La negativa se forma añadiendo «not» al auxiliar «have»
I / You / we / they haven’t got
He / she / it hasn’t got
La partícula «got» se omite en las respuestas cortas.
Yes, I / You / we / they have
Yes, He / she / it has
No, I / You / we / they haven’t
No, He / she / it hasn’t
Afirmativa:
sujeto + have / has + got + complementos
I have got a sister
He has got a Ferrari
Negativa:
sujeto + haven’t / hasn’t + got + complementos
I haven´t got a dog
She hasn´t got a cat
Interrogativa:
Have / has + sujeto + got + complementos?
Have you got a PC?
Has it got TV?
Respuesta corta afirmativa: (recuerda que no usamos «got»)
Yes, we have
Yes, he has
Respuesta corta negativa: (recuerda que no usamos «got»)
No, they haven’t
No, she has’t
Atención: en ocasiones encontraremos el «have» abreviado: «ve» en afirmativa:
I ‘ve got a sister
