TO HAVE GOT

HAVE GOT

El verbo «to have got» se puede usar con el significado de obligación («tener que hacer algo») pero sobre todo se usa con el significado de «tener» (poseer).

Está formado por el auxiliar «have» + «got»

I / You / we / they have got

He / she / it has got

La negativa se forma añadiendo «not» al auxiliar «have»

I / You / we / they haven’t got

He / she / it hasn’t got

La partícula «got» se omite en las respuestas cortas.

Yes, I / You / we / they have

Yes, He / she / it has

No, I / You / we / they haven’t

No, He / she / it hasn’t

Afirmativa:

sujeto + have / has + got + complementos

I have got a sister

He has got a Ferrari

Negativa:

sujeto + haven’t / hasn’t + got + complementos

I haven´t got a dog

She hasn´t got a cat

Interrogativa:

Have / has + sujeto + got + complementos?

Has it got TV?

Respuesta corta afirmativa: (recuerda que no usamos «got»)

Yes, he has

Respuesta corta negativa: (recuerda que no usamos «got»)

No, they haven’t

Atención: en ocasiones encontraremos el «have» abreviado: «ve» en afirmativa:
